Just finished these two portraits last week and delivered them to Clifford's owner.  He loved them!  I do to and miss seeing them in my studio.

Portrait of Socks

I worked closely with my client to create this lovely portrait of Socks. I was able to finish, frame and ship this painting in plenty of time to make the Christmas Eve deadline. This is when my client will present this painting to her daughter. Merry Christmas!

More activity in the canal!

I didn't even see the little blue heron until I viewed the photo, I was just watching the big one catch a fish.

And what a big fish it is!

He tried to fly with it and dropped it back in the canal. I'm so glad I had my camera out again this morning. Amazing activity right in my back yard!

Early Morning Visitor

He looked to be about a 4-5 footer. Hate to say not real big but oh so interesting to watch from afar!

Otter in the Canal

So cool to watch this otter fising in our canal this morning. I love where I live!

I finally get to post this portrait of Turk and Tiller!

My client commissioned me to paint this portrait of his two beautiful black labs as a surprise for his wife's birthday! I just got an email from him letting me know the gift was a "huge success". I'm always glad to know I have satisfied customers!

Yikes! The bear are everywhere!

Bear #1 This big bear was waiting for his buddy to come back up from the canal. He laid down in the driveway but I couldn't get a good shot. Finally the other bear reappeared and the first bear took off into the woods.

These were amazingly large bears to still be hanging out together. Must be siblings?

I've seen more bear in the last month than I have in the last 6 years living here. It must be the drought!

I need to get a better look!

My husband, Dick and I were sitting on our porch when we noticed something seemed very strange about our fish sculpture. I got the camera out and zoomed in and this is what I got.

Godiva

Here is a portait I did for my friend Tammy of her mare Godiva. This was a thank you to Tammy for taking care of my horse Blythe while I was back home visiting my family.

Sunset Over the Little Wekiva

Here's my lastest! Sunset was so incredible the other day I just had to get busy with the oils. I went with a smaller canvas this time, 11x14”. Definitely doable in a day!
